Upgrading To Latest Nagios XI
Posted: Fri Feb 06, 2026 2:39 am
Hi all,
I'm in a bind and hoping someone can help. We are currently running Nagios XI 2024R2 on a Ubuntu 20.04.6 server. I'm obviously wanting to upgrade Nagios XI to the latest version. However I first need to upgrade Ubuntu. In prep for this, when I run 'sudo aptu pdate && sudo apt upgrade -y' I get an error relating to PostgreSQL:
Get:1 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal InRelease [265 kB]
Ign:2 http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt focal-pgdg InRelease
Err:3 http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt focal-pgdg Release
404 Not Found [IP: 151.101.3.52 80]
Reading package lists... Done
E: The repository 'http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt focal-pgdg Release' no longer has a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
TIA.
