Hi,

is there a way to deploy smart dashboards to other users like with legacy dashboards?
And is there a way to change a dashboard to global after it is created?
It's not possible from "Manage Smart Dashboards" and it's also not possible by exporting and importing a smart dashboard again even if you change the global state in the json file to true

Hi,

Currently, our Smart Dashboard deployment strategy is handled through Global Dashboards. As of Nagios XI version 2026R1.4, global status can be toggled for existing Smart Dashboards by admins using the Manage Smart Dashboards page, or the Smart Dashboard actions dropdown on the left navbar if on the Neptune themes. Additionally, we have plans for further granularity in Smart Dashboard deployment and access control in a future update. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments!

Ok, thank you for the information.
I'll check version 1.4 soon and further granularity will indeed be needed when people start to discover these smart dashboards.
Making them all global and using there own naming convention while be hard to find the right dashboard
