2010R1.0 - Links in email reports not working...

Hi! Me again!

One other issue I'm noticing is links provided in email reports don't appear to work. When clicking on a link (say Executive Summary) the page returned is "Your session has timed out". Doesn't matter if I'm already looged in or logged out, same message.

Also, should there be PDF option for Executive Summary Report?

Update!

So, it seems like the link in the email notification is generated using the IP Address of the server. With the IP Address in the link I receive the "Session timed out" message. If I replace the IP Address with the servername, the report displays proprly.

Easy fix for this???

Go to Admin -> Manage System Config

And enter the external URL using the hostname

Howdy!

Changed both internal and external URLs to server name and generated a fresh email report. Now the links in the email appear as the server name, clicking the report link returns the same message: Your session has timed out...

We confirmed this to be a bug. We will be fixing it as soon as we can. I filed a bug report on our bug tracker. You can view it here:

I guess this report was never set up for pdf... :(
You can try a "workaround", though. Click on "Executive Summary", then click on the "Schedule Page" (the "clock" icon on the blue bar, right next to the "Permalink"). Fill in all of the required info, select "One Time" from the "Schedule Frequency" drop-down menu, and click on "Save".

LOL Nice try... That's what got me to the email page issue in the first place... :-)

Can we add a feature request for Executive Summary via PDF as well?
