Nagios Synchronized Checks..

While I am wondering, has it been done purposely for Nagios, I am talking about random checks as Nagios acts as a great check scheduling engine, randomly picking up and doing thousands of checks parallely. But what I mean to say that is that, why not there can be intelligence that all the service checks of one host should be checked at the same time in sync as a parallelized checks in one bound (i understand provided that all the services are configured to have the same polling interval), why I thought like that is sometimes the cases are that its showing hosts are down but the services configured still reflecting OK there for that host waiting for their turm to get chked and turn critical but it would have been done like once a host goes down, it should trigger immediate checks for it all services configured, so that we will be seeing it all critical once the host is down, so that it will trigger the laerts for all the servicses at the same for that host and it will not look odd that few services are still up and green as they need to be checked at their scheduled check timings.. Just a thought.

I believe the check_mk addon works in this manner.
