PerfData gone

Hi!

I use the newest NagiosXi (2012r1.1) to try if we could use it in our environment.
Since 25.10.2012 Nagios run as VM and monitored some servers.
Each day I checked what is monitored and also I checked Perf-Graphs.
But as I checked the Perf-Graphs today I saw, there are only Data since yesterday (30.10.)
Where are data gone?

The only I did yesterday was to change the description of some services.
Could this be a reason?
Who can I repair this?

Thx, Guenter

Hi!

Now I found out, changing the URL for displaying graph I get the picture with the old data.

Changing
http://192.168.20.78/nagiosxi/includes/ ... service=iSeries+load&dest=auto#tab-perfgraphs
to
http://192.168.20.78/nagiosxi/includes/ ... service=iseries+load&dest=auto#tab-perfgraphs

Please tell me, how I can merge them together.

Gue

For renaming services, I would recommend using the Configure->Core Config Manager->Tools->Renaming Tool to update the names of your services. This will allow you to rename hosts or services while still maintaining the old performance data and historical state information. Otherwise you have to manually update the perfdata files in /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/<hostname>/

Hi!

On your tip I tried to use the renaming tool, but this is part of the enterprise licence I don't have.
But knowing where the file are located help me very much.

So thank you for your help.
