Hi guys,

I've a problem with de users of nagvis.

When I go to:
--- Maps --> Nagvis --> User Menu --> Manage Users --> Reset password

It show me two types of errors:

--- When I reset my own password: "Unable to reset the password for your own user."
--- When I reset other password: "The password could not be reset."
* Always logged with a admin user

The only option that I could do is delete user and create it another time.

Finally, my last question is that its possible to sincronize the nagios password with the nagvis password ???

Thanks for your help

The reason for this is the basic authentication that is used. I don't think you can use resetting password functionality in nagvis with Nagios XI. You have to manage passwords in XI. You can do this by going to: Admin->Manage Users->Edit. This will "sync" the passwords, so that logging in nagvis is done automatically. Note: Only the first time you log in, you will be asked for a username/password.

Hope this helps.
