Is it possible to restrict the pages that can be viewed by nagios xi users?
For eg: for an operator, whose function is only to see the host/service problem and acknowledge it. They are not interested in Performance graphs, metrics and Maps etc, is it possible to restrict the pages/ tabs for xi accounts?

Actually I have gone through the documents. Lets say if a user created without any privileges with RO access, when he logged in to XI he will see the all the options in under Home tab, such as Quick view pages/ Details pages and Perf Graphs Maps etc. Similarly Views/ Dashboards/ Reports /Tools are standard tabs available for everyone regardless of the user rights. I would like to check the possibility of restricting those available options by default, so that you will have a very simple view of the applications for eg: Home tab and 2 quick views and ack option.

This is not currently possible, the granularity you mention has not been built into the interface.

Additionally, we are also working on a project called Nagios Incident Manager, which will tie into XI and give a set of users just access to the problem items and ability to acknowledge problems etc just through this software.

You could also look at an alternative interface for these users, such as Nagios V-Shell, which just showed status info for whatever that user is authorized for, and allows the same commands to be submitted (provided the user is authorized for them).
