Hi,

How to Build a Distributed Monitoring Solution with Nagios.

How can i forward Nagios alert with NSCA. I mean, where i have to installed NSCA on Master or Slave.

I have Master & Slave environment. Where Nagios Core (Slave) will be reporting to Nagios XI (Master).Will it act as NRPE agent & pass the alerts to Nagios Server.
Well in that case, if i am not wrong then NSCA will be installed on client (Slave) machines.
i would need Client & Server configuration document.

NSCA is already installed on XI.

From a Core server, you can use an OSCP command to forward the check results after each service check is run. See the following tutorial:
