Hi,

We have nsclient++ agent installed on one windows 2003 standard 64 bit server, but its often crashing, we couldnt find much details in the nsclient agent log. I have attached the windows event log error screenshot. Also the physical memory utilization is almost full i.e it has in total 8 GB RAM and its almost fully utilized always, attached the screenshot for the same. Our Nagios team is guessing, it may be because of high RAM utilization on server thats why nsclient++ may be crashed but couldnt find that information in the nsclient log. Now the server team is asking for what is the minimum memory requirement to run nsclient++ agent.
I tried to look for this information on the nsclient.org site but couldn't find that. I need to find this information to support our point. Anyone has idea about the same and can help us ????

I don't think nsclient++ service is using lots of RAM. It would be probably in the range of 10000-20000K. It would help if we could see the "nsclient.log" file.

In addition on the point of the page expiring.. may I suggest that you either compress the files or upload them to a external image servicing site?

Have you been able to do any looking into why all of your checks are being refused by your Nagios XI server? Had you made any changes to your network or server prior to this happening? It seems as though very few of the tickets regarding this on the nsclient++ writer's site have been answered.
