Hi,

I work with a distributed monitoring system where remote locations operate first line management of monitored services, and the central system provides the overview of all locations.

My Idea would be to link the acknowledgement action on the distributed nagios implementation (if the service is set to obsess) to submit the acknowledgment to the central nagios instance.

Is there any existing implementation to do this? Or does anyone have any thoughts on how to implement this.

This is an interesting idea, unfortunately it is not available lets see if others chime in that have made something similar work, otherwise you can file it as a feature request to the tracker at http://www.tracker.nagios.org/
