HIDE REPORTS FOR SOME USERS

Hi,
I've registered a user who can see the status of only some hosts (6 hosts of 50 total).

When he logs in, he only can see the hosts and services indicated in:
- Core Config Manager
- Hosts
- Host Managemet / Alert Setting
- Contacts

But when he uses the menù Reports / State History, he can see all the hosts and services records of all the 50 hosts total.
Can I limit the view of menù Reports / State History only to the 6 hosts for that user?

Otherwise is it possible to disable menù Repots for this user?

Thanks in advance
Bye
F.

This is not currently possible. I would suggest you look through this thread, as it covers a few options to mimic these types of restrictions. You can always make a feature request at: tacker.nagios.com.

If you do not have access to the Customer forums, You can check out the documentation below:

http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... Rights.pdf
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... enancy.pdf

You can use v-shell as an alternative frontend as it can be locked down in the extreme: http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Ad ... ll/details

You can also test drive Nagios Incident Manager, as it ties into XI and gives a set of users just access to the problem items and ability to acknowledge problems: http://library.nagios.com/library/products/nagiosim
