Hi,
I'm new to Nagios. Introduce myself as T.
Started testing Nagios XI - great product. Mainly i need a monitor what monitors network interface load/bandwidth on windows clients. I can't find this feature on Nagios.
Your assistance would be appreciated.
(and yes, i did search the forum and google before posting)

Well, you'll probably be doing this by either finding or writing the right module for NSClient++. If there's a system counter that you can use for bandwidth, you can use
http://nsclient.org/nscp/wiki/CheckCounter.

Thanks tonyyarusso.
There is a counter - Network Utilisation, and that's exactly what i need. I'll give it a try.

the idea of creating/adjusting module to perform a task is great.
Due to lack of time on such tasks we'd rather buy created module. I'm sure i'm not the only one who needs such module.
Anyone any ideas if such module exsit or needs to be created?

I'm not sure, no. I do know that we have some sort of process for arranging custom code, but I don't really know what it entails. At this point I think I'd suggest you send an e-mail to
[email protected] outlining what you'd like to accomplish to inquire about the possibility of a custom coding / consulting arrangement to meet your needs.

I've always done this using MRTG, just like we do for switchports. Try using the switch wizard on your windows servers.
MRTG uses SNMP.
