Bulk Change of Servicetemplate

Hi there
Is there a way to change the Service-/Host-Template on for Example a entire Hostgroup easy

What are you trying to change within the template? You can do this, however some of the options within the template could be changed by the Bulk Modifications Tool in Nagios XI Enterprise Edition, located under CCM > Bulk Modifications Tool.

For example i have started with templates in which the notification is enabled for all services and hosts.
Now for several systems outside of our region we would like to monitor but no notification enabled.
I thought this could be a good approach, creating a second pair of templates and change the pointer in the host and service config to the second one of needed.
With 300+ servers a lot work to klick around .....

Yes you can do this through the Bulk Modifications Tool if you have Nagios XI Enterprise edition, I'm afraid this is the only decent way to bulk modify notification options.
