real-time status info without direct access

Is there a Nagios plugin available that shows at-a-glance, real-time status information without giving the users direct access to Nagios. Something that provides a “traffic light” status of all servers, then the user can drill down into the services.
I found Nagios looking glass but was hesitant to install it as the websites referred to in the docs are all offline and the files are from 2007.
Thanks,
Jeff

I am not really sure what exactly you are trying to accomplish. What users can see is based on their level of permission. Do you want users to be able to see ALL hosts/services at a glance? If they don't have an access to Nagios, how would they "drill down into the services"? Can you elaborate a little bit more on this?

NagVis might be what you're looking for.

There are several pre-built options for this. Look for projects like Nagios Dashboard, Nagios TV, etc on exchange.nagios.org.

Someone has picked up Nagios Looking Glass and is actively developing it. FYI.
