Servicegroups not getting added or editable in NagiosQL

I wonder if this is a bug or a feature.

NagiosXI 2012V1.6 on redhat

I have roughly 750 services out of which are 50 hardware checks.

Under Core Config Manager

I created a new service group called hardware checks. Going under Service Groups and trying to search through all 750 services to find my hardware check its a nightmare. for the wishlist: couldn't we get there and in the "host Groups" a filter too to search for services or hosts to add them please ?

My Problem: So I added there 2 services and closed and applied and they show up in the "servicegroup summary" and in the servicegroups.cfg as they should. Cause of the filtering I thought I use the "services view" filter for the hardware checks and go into each of the services and add there the service group and applied. Doing this for 2 services they do show up in the "servicegroup summary" as expected.

Going back to the "service groups" manager there I see only the first 2 added checks but not the second ones from the services config. Also going into serviecgroups.cfg I dont see them in there.

Its reproduceable on all systems I have running on either 1.6 or 1.3. Am I just hard to please or does this work as designed?

This is actually a really good idea in my opinion and I will pass this on to the developer.

Both ;)

But seriously, you are correct, the OLD CCM had no way of filtering any of these, however, we are making improvements in the new CCM to block the ability of adding them both ways but it hasn't been added to the service groups yet. This is on the TODO list and should be coming to the CCM in the near future.
