I cannot see the NIC in hyperv sesion. i used the: dmesg | grep eth but nothing is displayed.
I am running 2008R2 64bit server

You need to shut the virtual machine down, and add\switch to a legacy network adapter within Hyper-V Manager. I will alter the document to state this.
