Notes URL not displaying

I added a URL under the URL section for a service. When I saved the configuration, selected the service, I don't see any icon for notes.

Did you just save the changes, or did you "apply configuration" as well?
Have you relogged into the web interface?

saved it all, logged out and back in again, still see nothing. The strange thing is that I I select view in Nagios Core, I see the icon.

Are you using IE? I ask because some of the newer versions have broken certain aspects of jquery. You may need to set IE to "compatibility mode" for certain portions of XI to work correctly.

Are you using the action/notes url component? If not, you will need to install the component to get the notes and action url functionality:
