Can I confirm the following the BPI group logic,

As I attached bpi-snapshot.jpg, I have a BPI called test3 which has 2 sub groups (test1 and test2) as essential members and no THs defined. As you can see both sub groups are in “Warning” status. In this case I expected the test3 status should show “warning”, since BPI groups determine state by looking down only one level. But it showed as “critical”.

Actually, if an essential member is in a problem state (not OK), the upper level group will always be in Critical state.

Ok, I would like to have the BPI: test3 status as follow,
If either one or both groups are warning  Warning
If 1 warning + I critical  Critical
If either one or both groups are critical  Critical

Look at one level down and get the worst status to the upper level
Is it possible to do that?

No, in BPI the warning and critical for the top group is based on the % set in the Health Thresholds section with the exception of Essential Members, if an Essential Member is not on an OK state then the whole group will be critical.
