Hi
I have installed nagios 3.4.3
Whenever I add a new host the service notifications are disabled by default even though I have enabled service notifications in the service template.
I have to manually enable the notifications for each service through the web interface.
Can somebody help resolve this.

Service notifications disabled
Re: Service notifications disabled
Do you have notifications disabled system-wide? To check, in the nagios ui, go to: System --> Process Info --> Process Commands (right side of page).
Do you see "Disable Notifications" or "Enable Notifications" in the menu?
Do you see "Disable Notifications" or "Enable Notifications" in the menu?

Re: Service notifications disabled
So notifications should be enabled, can you send us a copy of the service's configuration file from the Nagios server? It should be located in /usr/local/nagios/etc/ or /usr/local/nagios/etc/services.
