Windows Log

Hello,
I would superviserles log file windows with the following constraint:
I can not install external software such as NSClient example.
Is it possible to do this? If so thank you for guiding me.

Unfortunately there is no way to be able to monitor log files if you are unable to install something that has access to the log files...
While this may seem like the Holy Grail, if such a thing existed you would basically be opening up the files to anyone...

As Scott mentioned you would need to have an agent installed to monitor something as granular as a log file for an external application.. though for standard monitoring " CPU, MEMORY, DISK SPACE, etc" you could use a couple of different methods for this, such as SNMP or WMI checking:

I can install software, but we need it only uses port 161. The SNMP port.
Is it possible to monitor the log files using only the SNMP port?

You can change the port used to 161 yes, however snmp directly will not be able to monitor event logs for you. Again, nsclient's port can be changed to anything and in principal should work fine.
