About Nagios and occasional Errors

Hi admins and users,
I have a question about the integration of notifications and a plugin that checks logs files looking for errors to be displayed in the dashboard. I've managed to get it working without problems the problem is about the notifications.
I describe my problem:
1st minute) Run the script, it checks logs nothing bad, it shows the Green status for the service, all fine
2nd minute) Runs the script again, it checks logs, a error appeared so a Critical appeared and the Red status, its logical, all fine
3rd minute) Rust the script again, it check logs nothing bad, so again Green.
The problem is that there is not a way to know a problem happened in some minute, it should show a "There were 1 problem before, check it!" or something like. Something like a ticket.
Is there any way to make this with nagios or some information, plugin, configuration that will allow me to make that.
