Linux Distributions Reaching End of Life


When Linux distributions reach End of Life (EOL), it will no longer be possible to install or upgrade to new versions of Nagios software on them due to the lack of repositories for those EOL versions, as well as lack of Linux distribution support, security, and bug fixes for the customer.

As you are approaching or have reached the EOL of your Linux distribution and version, it is highly recommended that you perform a migration to a modern version/distribution.

Nagios usually deprecates support for EOL distributions within one month of the EOL date. It is important to keep your Nagios software updated, and to ensure that you are running it on a non-EOL distribution. Even though past versions of our commercial software will continue to work, you will not be able to install or upgrade current releases of our software and Nagios will have limited ability to assist with issues/problems with our software running on EOL distributions.
