Installing on Non-Standard Systems


Nagios XI can be installed on several popular hosting platforms using existing Linux emulation and virtual machine software that is compatible with both Nagios XI supported Linux distributions and the host platforms.

Before beginning, ensure that you've looked through the supported system requirements for Nagios XI for help in configuring a VM image.

Microsoft Azure

You can create an Azure Virtual Machine to host your Nagios XI instance. Please see the following resources:

Tutorial

After you have created and configured your Azure Virtual Machine, install Nagios XI using the instructions for the appropriate Linux distribution.

AWS

Amazon Web Services provides the ability to either launch a new pre-installed Nagios XI server in the Amazon EC2 cloud or to create a virtual machine from scratch and install Nagios XI. Please see the following resources:

Launch a Linux Virtual Machine

If creating a new Virtual Machine, install Nagios XI using the instructions for the appropriate Linux distribution.

Google Cloud
