Dashboards are used to query, filter, and display data that Nagios Log Server has imported. These steps, along with creating dashboards, are covered in our Analyzing Logs With Nagios Log Server document.
Additionally, one can find community submitted dashboards which can be imported into NLS. These can be found at https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Addons/Nagios-Log-Server/Dashboards.
