Title:GD library causing compilation problems
FAQ ID:F0182
Submitted By:Luke Jarmaine
Last Updated:10/08/2003

Description:

Nagios does not compile with gd libraries even though they are installed on the system.

Solution:

There are two options you can try to fix the problem:

  1. Remove the gd library from your system and recompile it with the following option: --disable-shared. Once the library is compiled, install it.
  2. Delete the following shared libraries from your system: libgd.so.2.0.0, libgd.so and libgd.so.2
