Title:Hosts and services intermittently disappear from the web interface
FAQ ID:F0021

Hosts and services will occassionally disappear from the web interface. This may happen during automatic refreshes of the pages, or anytime a CGI is opened.

This is often due to the fact that you have more than one Nagios process running, with each process attempting to write to a common status file.

This problem may also occur if you have edited your configuration files without restarting the Nagios process.

Kill all Nagios processes and restart Nagios. This will ensure that only one process is running and that the current object definitions are loaded.
