Description:How do I redirect http query with apache to https? 

Solution:If you want to force an encrypted connection, simply add the following in your nagios directory configuration of your httpd.conf: SSLRequireSSL Then, rewrite the query to https so user won't have to type https to access it. Alias /nagios /usr/share/nagios/ Options None SSLRequireSSL AllowOverride AuthConfig Order allow,deny Allow from all RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} ^80$ RewriteRule ^/nagios(.*) https://srv-linux.homelinux.net/nagios [R,L]
