|Title:||Attempting to submit commands to the Nagios process via the command CGI generates errors|
|Submitted By:||Ethan Galstad |
When attempting to submit external commands to the Nagios process via the command CGI, user receives errors about not being able to either stat() or open the external command file.
Make sure you have created the directory for holding the external command file with the proper permissions. Directions for creating the directory and assigning proper user and group permissions can be found here.
It is important to note that you must restart Apache after you make the necessary user/group permission changes. If you do not restart Apache after doing this, your webserver will not be able to access the external command file.
