Title:How can I have Nagios process all object configuration files in a particular directory?
FAQ ID:F0073
Submitted By:Ethan Galstad
Last Updated:09/25/2002

Description:

User would like to have Nagios process all object configuration files in one or more directories.

Solution:

The cfg_dir directive in the main config file is used to tell Nagios to process all config files (with a .cfg extension) in a particular directory. You can specify more than one instance of this directive if you want to include all config files in multiple directories.

cfg_dir=/usr/local/nagios/etc/directory1
cfg_dir=/usr/local/nagios/etc/directory2
cfg_dir=/usr/local/nagios/etc/directory3
...
