Title:How do I change the location or layout of hosts in the statuswrl (VRML) CGI?
FAQ ID:F0083

Description:

User would like to customize placement of host icons in the statuswrl (VRML) CGI.

Solution:

You can supply 3-D drawing coordinates for hosts by adding extended host information definitions in the appropriate config files. For more information on doing this, see the "Extended Information Configuration" doc in the "Configuring Nagios" section of the online documentation.

If you are unhappy with the auto-layout of hosts, but do not want to manually specify drawing coordinates for hosts, contribute a new layout algorithm for the CGI. 🙂
