So Friday afternoon one of my tech's edited who was in the weekend notifications list as we do each weekend, I checked the Configuration Snapshots to view the changes made to note the addition of their name to the list. After that change we stopped getting all notifications from Nagios. I went into ...

Re: Restoring Nagios on new Centos VM
Hi Tx243 , Thanks for reaching out. What version of XI are you migrating? Have you tried running the repair_databases.sh script on the CentOS 7 database and then creating the backup? OK ran the DB on the original server, ran a new backup and restore and it started with the same errors in the beginn...

Hi Tx243 , Thanks for reaching out. What version of XI are you migrating? Have you tried running the repair_databases.sh script on the CentOS 7 database and then creating the backup? Our Nagios XI resided on Centos 7 and is well past EOL so my only path was to backup the existing server info and restore it on a fresh Centos9 VM. Re: Monitoring Extreme Swithceswith MIB's
I changed the values for timeout and items with the same results, it gives the error that no results were found but when you view the raw output it shows the expected results from the OID of two power supplies with the integer response of 2 EXTREME-BASE-MIB::extremeSystem.1.27.1.2.1 = INTEGER: 2 EXT...

Re: Monitoring Extreme Swithceswith MIB's
OK we have progress, they are all imported, I have gone to SNMP Walk wizard and entered the security settings, selected the MIB provided by Extreme and the OID I am looking to monitor as a test and on the next screen it fails No results were returned from a scan of the device. This could be due to o...

Re: Monitoring Extreme Swithceswith MIB's
OK, I was able to find all the MIB's but even though it let me upload the MIB's provided by Extreme now I am getting an error that the upload failed: the snmp trap interface is an enterprise-only feature.

Re: Renamed service shows up both as original and new
Doesn't look like I have access to the Bulk Modification tool, gives me a standard vs enterprise issue.
