Temporary name resoloution failed when creating a sensor
I am trying to create sensors using the following variable in the command but I am getting the attached error every time regardless of the sensor or arguments that I use. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong here? This has worked on other sensors so it seems like the issue is the command/variable c...

Re: All my data is gone, I cannot see anything
It is definitely odd, but it is working now.
Thank you for your help, I will note what we did so if it comes up again, we know what to do and where to look.

Re: All my data is gone, I cannot see anything
Looks like my information is slowly coming back, could this be due to the fact something was up with my database from earlier today?
How does the database get corrupted like that after being up for so long?

Any thoughts?

All my data is gone, I cannot see anything
All, I had an issue where my log analyzer server would just say “Waiting for Database to start”, so I rebooted and it came back. Now when I login to the portal, I see absolutely nothing, regardless of what I search for or what filters are applied or not applied. I can see from the “admin” tab that m...

Thanks for that,
When I go through that process, I am presented with a new error, any Idea why I might be getting this?

How to direct Nagios to gather certain log files
Hey everyone, I am looking for a way to have Nagios gather certain log files instead of just "system" logs it thinks are important. Is there a setting somewhere, maybe in the "rsyslog.conf"? I want to be able to gather logs for applications as well, such as NextCloud apache2 (wit...

Log server not reporting logs from any server
I have installed the Nagios Log Server on a server so I could fully test the product out before we purchase it, however, I am having trouble getting my client machines to communicate to the log server and report correctly. At the moment, my log server dashboard is completely blank and doesn't show a...
