Hi, We've a recurring problem with the xi_meta.MYD file in the mysql Db taking up pretty much all the space it can get, we were running on a 40Gb disk until midweek and increased this to 120Gb as per you documented recommendations, it's now full again with: 61G xi_meta.MYD We're using Chef to autoge...

Been having another look today and seems to be related to SELinux being enabled, will raise an email ticket anyway.

Hi, I am trying to automate service discovery by using Chef to generate cfg files and then run the reconfigure_nagios.sh script to load in the files. However I am constantly getting permissions errors as attached, it seems the script only runs as root on the actual host, I cannot reconfigure as nagi...

Are there any more "real world" examples of using this or can we basically overwrite any checks we have deployed on servers just now with a calculated, threshold base from bischeck?

Intelligent Thresholds in XI
All, I am looking to make our alerts more intelligent and have been have been looking into bischeck (http://www.bischeck.org/). Before I get too involved I have a feeling there is maybe something in the XI product that does similar, is there and approved or recommended way of going about this? Jamie
