What is the secret here? I would think I could check the box on the left next to multiple objects and change the alert settings for more than one host at a time. Any insight into how to accomplish this?
Thanks!

Re: Too many repeated emails for host or service down.
Yes, but I have 2600 services and several hundred hosts. I see there is a bulk modification tool but it is an extra add on... I can write a script that can modify the Nagios configuration files.. but I fear that the configs will get overwritten by any change in the UI. Any ideas?

Re: This plugin requires the linux implementation of wmic eg
To be clear... when going into the config wizard and trying to add another WMI server query, I got the following error in the UI: WARNING: wmic binary has not been installed. See documentation on Installing WMI The documentation lives here: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/docs/Installin...

This plugin requires the linux implementation of wmic eg fro
I am getting this error for all of my WMI queries after upgrading from 5.4.12 to 5.6.9
This plugin requires the linux implementation of wmic eg from zenoss.
What is the fix. I saw a link in another post for a doc on this fix but the link does not work.

Re: Creating a dashboard that does not require user log in
Hello,
I finally got the dashboard to load, but it appears that my bandwidth graphs are in GMT and not EST as defined in the admin > system settings section.

I am attaching a photo of the problem... for kicks I tried:
Per the post you referenced and it made no difference.
Code: Select all
session.gc_maxlifetime = 31536000

Re: Creating a dashboard that does not require user log in
I still got " your session has timed out" after updating the security setting and saving.
I am trying to use the Latest Alerts widget and it loads but where the content of the alert is supposed to be it says that it timed out.

Creating a dashboard that does not require user log in
