Re: Promo licence key 'exceeded licence limit' after upgrade 2016R1
that explains CSP50, but what about the 25YEARSOFNAGIOS! code i'm actually using - similar deal?
i assume it's an online activation so if it was expired/changed then i would've seen the same issue on the 2024Rx version.

Promo licence key 'exceeded licence limit' after upgrade 2016R1
We're in the process of buying NagiosXI commercially, however i've used the software a number of years ago in my old company so while a bit rusty now, i am also familiar with it. To get back into things I find that NagiosCSP has the promo key '25YEARSOFNAGIOS!' as stated in SLICENCE.TXT and appears ...

Re: Nagios XI log4 native use?
cant say i'm familiar with the CVE to know 100% but from what i can tell then it's a simple case of updating your log4j package to >=2.15.0. my nagios server (pre-built hyperV VM image iirc) doesnt have log4j installed via yum so based on that, i'm in the clear. yum list installed | grep -i log4j wo...

ncpa - monitor extended windows logs
How do you get the ncpa agent to report on the extended windows logs? Specifically content within the 'Applications and Services Logs'. Upto now we've used nrpe check_eventlog & '"file=Microsoft-Exchange-HighAvailability/Monitoring" filter=id=1011' which will monitor some specific Exch...

Re: sucessful migration - mysql issues
just upgraded from 5.7.2 to 5.7.4 and everything looks good both immediately after upgrade and after a reboot. no abnormal behaviour with mysqld CPU time, checks are immediate and based on htop output you've abandoned (at least for this .4 release) ndo3 and keeping with ndo2db. ok, i've only been ru...

Re: sucessful migration - mysql issues
juts updated to 5.7.3 (yep, a month late!) and seeing very similar symptoms.
reverted back to 5.7.2 untill a get a bit more time to confirm it is the same and downgrade to ndo2 which i assume will fix.

Re: sucessful migration - mysql issues
Curious if this was an upgrade from 5.6.x to 5.7 and if the problem exists with both upgrades and clean installs from scratch? I am at the point of loading my 5.7 server up but will blow it away if the clean install is a better way to go. My server was a restore/upgrade so I could pull all the scri...

Re: sucessful migration - mysql issues
we've had the issue reoccur on 5.7.2 update re-ran through saxx's solution on page3 (https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=312201#p312201 - specifically quotes 2 through 5) and after 20-30minutes nagios became functional again guess theres still issues with NDO3, and nice the downgrade to...
