Nagios receives a sigterm signal that triggers the shutdown, however the sender of the signal is not logged. Nagios is being shutdown twice a day and is causing disruptions with the rest of the system. What is causing this and how can it be avoided.

On the Nagios-VM, our /etc/ntp.conf file is written over after every reboot. We'd like to understand where this file is copied from so that we can set our server statements correctly and have the NTP daemon start on a reboot/power up.
