Re: Automatic Services Monitoring, nsclient++ to NCPA move
I tested the Powershell to check Automatic Services, but I still need to find a way to exclude certain services. Also need a way to check large disk like we do with the NSClient now (not based on % but on GB free). Anyone done this? ./check_ncpa.py -H <yourIPaddress> -t '<your token>' -M 'disk/logi...

Re: NagiosXI Performance
We do have a document that goes over a number of performance optimization options that can be implemented. https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/docs/Maximizing-Performance-In-Nagios-XI.pdf The first thing I will say is with 30k service checks, that is the high end of what a typical Nagios XI...

Re: check_mssql plugin
It's interesting that php-mssql didn't get installed automatically. Go ahead and get that installed, and see if that fixes the issue.

Re: Custom SQL for message queue not working properly
Hello, To tackle the first issue, where the query doesn't seem to run properly, in Nagios or out of Nagios. Based on the error message, I would guess that MESSAGE_QUEUE_INFO is completely user defined, and for whatever reason, it was not defined on the server where you get that error message. That's...

Re: Nagios XI - Host and Service configuration export
Hello, I don't know that there's a way to get a CSV export of the configured devices right out of the interface. However, all of that information, and more, is available through the API. Try out the config/host endpoint. For information on how to use the API, go to Help -> API Docs, and choose one o...

Re: What is the latest version of Apache that Nagios XI supp
Hello,
Apache versions 2.2 and 2.4 are supported. So you should be able to upgrade from 2.4.37 to 2.4.52 without issue. If you do have issues, we'll be here to help!

Re: ncpa variables
Is there a difference in the output of the plugin when you use --nosavethresholdcount locally? I'm wondering if the output is somehow conflicting with NCPA's response. Like if something isn't escaped properly.

Re: Setup a complete discovery in my network
The autodiscovery wizard can accept CIDR notation. So if your network's IP and subnet are 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0, that would be shown as 192.168.0.0/24
This is a really good article that can help you translate your subnet to CIDR notation.
