Hi,
is it possible to run XI with Mklivestatus instead of NDO?
If so, what would the process be to replace it and would there be issues when upgrading in the future?
See other thread regard NagVis - issue could be tied to NDO, so interested in possibly switching backends.
Thank you,
Kipling

Re: NagVis filterGroup
Bumping this in the hopes that some fellow Nagios XI user (or the support group themselves) that uses NagVis would be willing to test filterGroup functionality.

Re: NagVis filterGroup
I do not intend the following to seem snarky, but funny you should mention that - I actually started there. Reviewed the documentation and then went to the NagVis forum in the Nagios Portal. I explained my issue there and asked advice. One of the board users, while generally helpful, did get a dig i...

NagVis filterGroup
Hi, Having issues with the filterGroup function in NagVis running on my NagiosXI install. While the rest of AutoMap works brilliantly, when I set it to use filterGroup if shows only my localhost (NagiosServer). Pretty sure the parent piece is setup correctly as the rest of my 200+ hosts flow perfect...

Re: NagiosQL 3.1
Tony, Thanks for the reply. Yes - I gathered I could write directly to the database, I was just concerned about running afoul of QL and corrupting my installation. I don't know enough about the architecture to know what effects changes to the database have on the config. I'd hoped that when they rel...

NagiosQL 3.1
Hi,
I'm wondering if there will be a XI beta release that will include the new NagiosQL 3.1 beta?
I'm looking for CLI access to be able to write to the Nagios configuration (specifically to dynamically update parent relationships).
Thank you,
Kipling

Tony,
Thanks! The timezone in the php.ini was incorrect (Chicago instead of New_York).
Corrected the setting, rebooted, all is well.
Thanks again,
Kipling

Thank you for the reply.
It appears that the time issue extends to the "Last Updated:" titles in the dashboards. These are also behind.
When I go to the console of the server itself, 'data' does return the correct date/time/tz

Hi,
Still looking for a resolution for this. What other information should I be gathering? What else can I try?
Thank you,
Kipling
