i gave a static ip and hostname rebooted and it now connects to existing cluster

the exact error is could not generate node_uuid - check file permissions I have created a new centos stream9 to join the existing cluster and i had tested this in the lab and ran into the same issue Am I wrong or is there a file that says you are only allowed 1 node which will stop you from joining ...
