I am putting together a POC for what we need to do, prior to getting purchase approval, part of that will be adding in 1000+ hosts and being able to manage them via a puppet module. Mostly, I don't want to add 1000+ hosts in a gui and don't want to use an auto discovery plugin that'll do it in a mess.

So in there you have just .cfg files? In each of which, is ll your hosts and what not?

Also doesn't show in the CCM, hmm that is an issue. I thought I could use command.php with some options to inject what I wanted?

How can I add a host and assign it to a hostgroup via the CLI?

I am trying to get NagiosXI sending out SMS notifications to mobile phones and they are not sending out. I have tried [email protected] on the pager field and additional email address field. Is there anything I would need to change in the notification commands?

Hi All, So I set a test up to monitor a specific connection that we knew was down. I unchecked all the service notifications except 'r'. We thought that would alert us not to the service being down, but when it got turned on. Last night the service was turned on and NagiosXI didn't send any alerts. ...

We figured it out. Sadly due to the agent being compiled and not an RPM, we cant use it in our production environment.

Is there an RPM for the NagiosXI agent?
