Re: Recovery notifications, without Warnings or Criticals
Just one of the contacts received the Critical, but both received the Recovery. 22:21 - Critical - sent to SysAdmins Next Check in 3 minutes 22:24 - OK - sent to SysAdmins and DBAs A Critical notification was never sent to DBAs, but they did receive Recovery. All the time frames are 24x7 with a coup...

Recovery notifications, without Warnings or Criticals
VMWare Image Nagios XI 2011R2.4 Just a real quick question. I made some escalation changes. I have one contact group that is receiving Recovery Notifications, but not Warnings or Criticals. I thought if you didn't receive a Warning or Critical, you wouldn't receive the Recovery? I looked at the Noti...

VMWare Image - Nagios XI 2011R2.4 I'm trying to setup Active Directory for our Nagios XI logins. I changed the settings in the Active Directory Integration component, but I'm assuming that my users need to be mapped, or something along those lines. Is there a document that might help me? I searched ...

Re: Notification Interval being ignored
I changed the time zone, and still received the errors every 60 minutes. Just for kicks, I restarted whole Nagios server, and I'm still getting alerted of warnings every 60 minutes.

Re: Notification Interval being ignored
Well,
I upgraded to 2011R2.4, and I'm no longer receiving notifications every 30 minutes, but I'm now receiving them every 60 minutes.
I didn't make any other configuration changes.

Alert date/time off - 6 hours ahead
When I get alerts the date/time appears to still be in UTC time. Also, when I search notifications, selecting the last 24 hours, it show in UTC time. If I run the command date the correct time is displayed: Thu May 31 08:00:26 CDT 2012 The only line in /etc/sysconfig/clock is: ZONE="AMERICA/Chi...
