Hi,
I've upgraded to 2014R2.6. The issue is still there.
Best wishes

Re: Hostgroups disappear when changing ip-address
I found out this only applies when a non admin user changes the address. We'll upgrade to newest version as soon as possible. ############################################################################### # # Host configuration file # # Created by: Nagios Core Config Manager 2.3.1 # Date: 2015-03-1...

Re: Hostgroups disappear when changing ip-address
No, via CCM it works fine. The relationships to the notificationgroups are still there after applying configuration.tmcdonald wrote:Does it still exhibit this behavior when you make the edit straight from the CCM?

Hostgroups disappear when changing ip-address
Hi everyone
another problem with Nagios XI 2014R2.4 from us:
When a user changes the ip-address of a host via Configure -> "Re-configure this host" the host loses its relationships to all of its contactgroups.
Can you reproduce this?
Best wishes

Re: Auto-Login only for a single host
It seems like clearing cookies and cache is not enough. I use Firefox in private mode for testing this. I need to close the window and open another to get this working.
Any further guesses?
On the Raspi we use Screenly OSE for displaying the screen.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Auto-Login only for a single host
The problem is that only hosts / alarms from hostgroup1 are shown although hostgroup2 is polled. This is no local caching issue on the raspi. So, just to clarify, the views rotate but the data displayed is only for the first hostgroup and never the second? Exactly, you got it. I've got 22 hosts in ...

Re: Auto-Login only for a single host
Hi everyone, I need to push this thread up, sorry for that. We want to use a raspi to display different opscreens for different hostgroups on a TV. So I created a user which can see hosts in hostgroup1 and another for hostgroup2. The raspi first polls https://w.x.y.z/nagiosxi/includes/components/ops...

Outbound Transfers with NSCA
Hi everyone we want to use distributed monitoring. We have a Nagios XI server which sends check results via NSCA to a central monitoring system based on Nagios Core. While configuring this, a few problems occured: 1) How can I tell Nagios XI to use "encryption_method=1" (Simple XOR) with n...
