Re: Yum Update Service check timed out after 60.01 Oracle Li

Ok got it, thanks for the help!

To update... The Nagios side was fine, I had to change the timeout in nrpe.cfg on the hosts I wanted to monitor.

Thanks again!

Re: Yum Update Service check timed out after 60.01 Oracle Li

You'll need to adjust the timeouts on the check_nrpe that gets run by your Nagios server, as well as the yum check plugin being run on the remote machine. Hi thanks for the response, but I don't understand what I need to change. I already increased the timeout for the check_nrpe command on the nagi...

Yum Update Service check timed out after 60.01 Oracle Linux

I need some help with the above error on our Oracle Linux servers (OEL5 and 6) using the latest Nagios XI version (2014R1.5). Following the troubleshooting docs, I have adjusted the nrpe timeout to 300 seconds, but I still get the same error: Yum Updates Critical (Service check timed out after 60.01...

Re: Status information is different than command output

changing to -a 'Sophos Agent' OK - Found 1 Services(s), 1 OK and 0 with problems (0 excluded). 'Sophos Agent' (Sophos Agent) is Running. That's much better thank you! I used the WMI Wizard and added the service that way, I think because I added the ' in the wizard ('Sophos Agent'), it turned out fun...

Status information is different than command output

I am trying to check a Windows service using WMI with Nagios XI 2014R1.1. I added a service check for "Sophos Agent" and the status information under "service details" reads: OK - Found 0 Services(s), 0 OK and 0 with problems (0 excluded). However, when I run the command in CCM o...

Re: Oracle Plugin Issue

Yes thank you for your response, I figured it out last night just by chance... I wish the documentation was just a little more clear. It turns out the tnsnames.ora on the oracle server had a different SID descriptor that I had to change to match on the Nagios server.
