Re: NRDP Setup
I'll get confirmation but nothing appears on the server. This, I assume, is because I need to define hosts and services? That is correct. In Nagios XI, when the checks are received from the client, you can see them in the Unconfigured Objects and can easily configure them. In Nagios Core, you will ...

NRDP Setup
I've followed the guides for setting up NRDP, but I'm a little confused. http://server.ip/nrdp works, and allows me to submit commands and data. Calling send_nrdp.sh (from here ) or send_nrdp.php from the command line doesn't do anything but provide an output from PHP illustrating commands that can ...

Re: Check_http_xpath.pl - Return code of 255 is out of bound
Two things I see wrong: 1.) You seem to have no $ARG1$, only $ARG2$ and $ARG3$ in your command_line entry. This is fine, you don't have to actually use all the args, but you also have only two arguments in your check_command entry, currently the password and (I'm guessing) the array index. You will...

Check_http_xpath.pl - Return code of 255 is out of bounds
I've a pile of fibre RAIDs that provide many environmental and performance variables via XML. I can usually parse this successfully using check_http_xpath.pl. However, currently despite all the green OK statuses, I'm getting "Return code of 255 is out of bounds." The confusion arises at th...

Re: NDOutils 2 and Nagios 4.0.4
Still no luck. I want to approach this again. CentOS, RHEL, or OEL 6.3 or above, with the packages (those versions or newer) in my previous post above installed as a baseline. I can install and get Nagios working quickly and easily this way, but have had absolutely no luck whatever in making NDOutil...

Re: NDOutils 2 and Nagios 4.0.4
What are the exact specifications, this should not happen twice if you are installing core on a minimal system, with no GUI, and then bringing NDO2 in. Is anything pre-installed on this system? mysql? etc? This is a base install of CentOS 6.5 from CentOS-6.5-x86_64-minimal.iso downloaded from this ...

Re: NDOutils 2 and Nagios 4.0.4
I've built a fresh VM from scratch, installed NDOutils from source (http://sourceforge.net/p/nagios/ndoutils/ci/ndoutils-2-0/tree/) ...and am still getting nothing out. selinux is disabled. config files seem fine. ndo is running, but the database isn't filling up, just as before. there's no ndo2db.d...

Re: NDOutils 2 and Nagios 4.0.4
This is on CentOS 6.5.
I'll build another VM and try it again.

Re: NDOutils 2 and Nagios 4.0.4
Yes, I'd sanitized the posts. The database, username, and password all match within the actual configuration.
