Turns out you specifically have to use version 1.4.0nagios4

the logical assumption that the latest and versions past this work with the latest nagios are incorrect.

where are you getting v2.0.5 from? The link on nagios exchange is not for anything higher than 2.0.1

Additionally, if I run the suggested command in the web error on the terminal, it succeeds. It seems that the submit of the details for the wizard is not sending the snmpversion properly (the 2c tab makes no difference to the config used)

I am seeing exactly the same error, not just for fortigate devices. I cant seem to find a more recent version that what I have already aswell.
