Network Switch / Router Monitoring Wizard 2.0.2 Error

Hi,

Actually, I'm using Nagios XI2012R2.9 for my prod. But my Chief want to upgrade for new version 2014.

For this, I have installed N XI2014. It has same configuration like my 2012. But when I try add new firewall (Fortigate for example in SMMP v2c) result is bad ..

I upgrade Wizard 2.0.1 in 2.0.2 and the same result ...

Look at this :

First Error :

No ports were detected on the switch. Possible reasons for this include:
The switch is currently down
The switch does not exist at the address you specified
SNMP support on the switch is disabled

Troubleshooting Tip:
If you keep experiencing problems with the switch wizard scan, login to the Nagios XI server as the root user and execute the following command:

/usr/bin/cfgmaker --show-op-down --noreversedns --zero-speed '100000000' '[email protected]:::::1'

AND NOW JOKE .. When I execute command I SEE INTERFACES with Descriptions, Status etc ... I want open windows and jump ...


Second Error :

I think the problem is the new mrtg version ..

Have you updated the wizard since the 2014 upgrade? We have noted several issues that I believe are resolved via the updated wizard.

Yes I have,

I upgrade Wizard 2.0.1 in 2.0.2 and the same result ...

And When I push "Checks for upgrade" in Admin ==> Manage Config Wizard and Wizard is "Up to date"

I have tried install an old version Wizard 1.6. And result is, it scans interfaces, but when I apply configuration, snapshot error says that's not the good version for this Nagios.

I think what problem come from MRTG or cfgmaker

I am seeing exactly the same error, not just for fortigate devices. I cant seem to find a more recent version that what I have already aswell.

Additionally, if I run the suggested command in the web error on the terminal, it succeeds. It seems that the submit of the details for the wizard is not sending the snmpversion properly (the 2c tab makes no difference to the config used)

where are you getting v2.0.5 from? The link on nagios exchange is not for anything higher than 2.0.1

@aqxsysad, do you have access to view the customer support forum? If not, let us know, we should be able to post the wizard update here. It may actually be available if you click Check for Updates in Admin > Manage Config Wizards.
