IIS Log Monitoring
Hello, I would like to be able to scan the contents of the daily IIS W3C web server log file on a Windows server using nsclient++. I would like the output to produce the number of connections from a specific IP address (or login) and warn if there are say 100 connections or attempts in the past 5 mi...

Re: Monitoring VoIP and Mean Opinion Score
Thank you for your responses. Here is a doc about the Alcatel devices. It has SNMP capability but does not provide the MIBs: https://infoproducts.alcatel-lucent.com/cgi-bin/dbaccessfilename.cgi/3HE08677AAACTQZZA01_V1_7705%20SAR%20OS%20System%20Management%20Guide%20R6.1.R4.pdf#search=%22MIB%22 I also...

Monitoring VoIP and Mean Opinion Score

I have a client that has multiple locations around a city with comm links ranging from microwave to 1GBs. They are using Alcatel Service Aggr...

Re: Nagios XI distributed monitoring with Nagios Core
I have the inbound check in XI enabled and working and I am able to send from a core server but only information about the core server itself and not all of the servers and services that the core server is monitoring. I am not sure how to set it up so that all alerts from the core servers (including...

Nagios XI distributed monitoring with Nagios Core
Hello, I am currently evaluating Nagios XI on Linux. I have Linux Nagios Core servers already setup and running at multiple sites so I am looking at a way to centrally view them for our NOC. I looked at Fusion but I have some clients who will not allow inbound traffic from the Internet so I am now l...

Re: Nagios XI to consolidate multiple distributed Nagios Cor
I was just wondering if there has been update for this using nrdp? I am testing the same thing with a central Nagios XI server and remote Nagios Core servers and would like to have all alerts from the Core servers go to my XI server.

Firewall and initiating connection from client
Hello, I am in the process of evaluating Nagios Fusion. The plan is to use Fusion to connect to our client sites running Nagios Core. I have Fusion setup and testing a connection with one remote server and it works fine on port 443 for SSL. However, we have some security conscious clients that will ...

Re: Nagios Core and NSClient++ Windows servers system uptim
Thanks for the link to the wiki page. My question probably should have been, how do I acknowledge or mark as clear these Windows event log messages that have been resolved so that they stop generating an alert in Nagios? For example, the system uptime message, I know the server has not been rebooted...
