Re: How to export query results to a text file?
To be hones I am very suprised that this feature is not in NLS. When I reccomended this product to my manager I assumed that such a basic feature was included. Now we are stuck with a years worthy of logs that requires CLI magic to extract. Not very management friendly. We will be moving away from N...

Re: 1.4.0 install logstash crashing
Solved! Turns out I had been way to clever for my own good! Botched the first installation, and figured all I needed to do to start again was to delete /usr/local/nagioslogserver. This was not sufficient. The webroot also had to be deleted for the installation script to work properly. Summary: rm -f...

1.4.0 install logstash crashing [SOLVED]
Hi, I have installed NLS 1.4.0 from the tarball. Everything looks ok, but logstash keeps crashing. Its complaining about missing configuration files: {:timestamp=>"2016-01-07T12:15:22.012000+0100", :message=>"Error: No config files found: /usr/local/nagioslogserver/logstash/etc/conf.d...

Re: Dashboard of bandwidth graphs in bits
I want to pint out that IPFIX is not a "competing product" as your stealth-editor seems to think.
It is the last version of the protocoll on which your product is built.

Re: Dashboard of bandwidth graphs in bits
I think that for our flow analyzing needs we are going to look elsewhere. I feel NNA is a bit rudimentary when compared to the features and flexibility offered by other products. By all means, enter the request. I cannot guarantee a purchase (and we would certainly need a new trial period), but I am...

Re: Dashboard of bandwidth graphs in bits
These fields appear implementation specific. We don't collect vendor proprietary stuff, just the vendor agnostic stuff: source port/ip, destination port/ip, flow age, bytes, packets, etc. Not that it matters much, but they are not proprietary: IANA lists inegress and egress interface as ElementID 1...

Re: Dashboard of bandwidth graphs in bits
Thanks for your reply! Its a bummer that you cannot show the bandwidth in bits. This might be a deal breaker for us. With regards to nr2 the use case is a managment friendly dashboard showing pretty graphs of the utilization of the upstream links to our ISP. I have encountered a new problem. Due to ...

Dashboard of bandwidth graphs in bits
Hi, We are considering getting NAA in our company (very happy with NagiosXI and Log Server) I have configured four sources with netflow (ipfix) sources using sampling rate of 1/1000 packets. I need to display bandwidth graphs for all sources. Questions: 1. Is it possible to change the display value ...

Re: Alert on nothing being found
Wohoo!
I can confirm that in 2015R1.4 "altert on nothing being found" works with "1:,1:" as criteria
Now maybe I can convince my manager to buy this sexy system
Thanks!
