Notifications in UI show "OK: Failed Uploads are at (Linux)"
We have a few nagios notifications that run a query against the DB and are set to go off if it's above a certain number. They were working as expected for a long time until recently it shows: OK: Failed Uploads are at (Linux) OK: Funding Uploads (FU) are at PATH OK: Overall Uploads are at (Linux) OK...

Nagios PHP End of Life
Nagios XI 5.11.1 Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.8 php-7.2.24-1 Our Security Team is flagging php-7.2 as End of Life (May 2021) and is requiring us to upgrade to PHP 8.x. This is actually coming down from Federal regulations, so we don't have much room for argumentation. Does the Latest Nagios XI...

Monitoring Windows Servers with Nagios XI
Hello, I am new to Nagios XI. I need to monitor Windows servers and from the various documentation I have found, it seems like there is more than 1 way to monitor windows servers. I manually put in all of my windows hosts. I am moving onto services which include CPU, memory, processes and a few othe...

Re: nrpe service add_ipv4_to_acl Error, ip-address
Hello, I'm not using IPv6. In our other configurations for nrpe.cfg we use the fqdn. It looks like Oracle Linux 7 version of nagios package does not like this. I replaced the fqdn w/ the IP address of the nagios host and the error did not away. My preference is to use the fqdn, but in this case I'll...

check_snmp memTotalFree thresholds
Hello, I've searched other posts and I'm not able to locate anything on my particular issue. This is my first go round setting up snmp monitoring. From my nagios server I'm able to snmpwalk all OID's that I'm interested in. But, I'm having trouble setting thresholds. $ snmpwalk -O n -v2c -c mystring...

Re: Migrating Nagios core 4.0.8 open source to Nagios XI 5.6
Hi Swolf,
Once I move the entire file system to the static folder and restart the Nagios, does all the objects like hosts, contacts and time periods that I defined in the config files appear in the Nagios XI Core Config Manager drop down options? or do I have to do any additional steps.
Thank you,
