NDO 3.x on a large system
Hello Everyone, We are still running XI version 5.6.12 due to the fact that when NDO 3 was first released we updated and ran into major performance issues where check results fell 20 - 30 minutes behind. Just wondering if anyone else is running a new version of XI with a large system that has 1000+ ...

Re: Delays for hosts coming out of scheduled downtime
Hello, After doing some further testing I realized that this is only occurring on our instance that is on version 5.7.5. Our other larger instances are still on older versions due to the fact that we ran into performance issues with NDO 3. In the update release notes I have seen a few modifications ...

Re: Delays for hosts coming out of scheduled downtime
Hello, I did not know that the exit downtime did not occur until there was a check result so that would explain the minute delays on the smaller group but 45 minutes seems like a long time for a hundred hosts. Assuming this same logic would apply to schedule downtime for service checks as well? For ...

Delays for hosts coming out of scheduled downtime
Hello, It was brought to my attention the other day that when a user put about 100 hosts into scheduled downtime there was a delay in removing the downtime when the end time was reached. For example the downtime was scheduled from 10:45 - 11:45 but in the event log I could see some of those hosts st...

Re: Custom check with perfdata but no graph
Tom,
I was able to resolve the issue with the high user CPU but the load still seems fairly high and is hovering around 9 - 10. I have sent you a PM with the system profile.
Thanks

Re: Custom check with perfdata but no graph
Hello Tom, After making these changes I am still not seeing data in the graphs. One thing I did notice is that it is not limited to just this check and performance graphing for all checks seems to have stopped around Thursday last week. I am seeing unusually high user cpu usage ( screen shot 1 ) and...

Re: Custom check with perfdata but no graph
Hell Tom,
The rrd and xml files did not even exist so I went ahead and just enabled the logging that you mentioned. Attached are the log files.

Custom check with perfdata but no graph
Hello,
I have written a custom check that collects server temperature readings and everything looks to be working except for the performance graph. I am even seeing the performance data in the advanced tab of the service status detail page. Please see attached screenshots for details.

Re: API issues in 5.8
Hello Sean,
That did the trick, thank you. Assuming that this bug is fixed in a future version having already done this should not cause any harm right?
